FAQs

What time is your Sunday morning service at?

Our morning service starts at 9:45 AM.

What is the service like?
Our morning services include prayer and Scripture reading, singing both contemporary songs and beloved hymns, and a biblical sermon from one of our pastors. We observe the Lord’s Supper once a month and typically have one or two baptismal services throughout the year.

What should I wear?

You’ll find some people dressed comfortably in jeans and a t-shirt, others dressed in their Sunday best, and most people somewhere in between. Wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing!

Do you use a specific Bible translation?

Nope! While you’ll find the ESV in our pews, you’ll find individuals also using the KJV, the NIV, the NLT and the NASB, so bring whatever Bible translation you prefer.

Is there something for my children?

We have nursery available for your young children during the morning service as well as during the Sunday school hour. Children from 4 years old through 4th grade are also welcome to join Children’s Church during the morning service. Every individual who works with children have completed a background check.

Can I speak with someone?

You can contact any of our pastors by calling the church office at (231) 599-2122, or you can fill out a contact form on our Contact Us page.

Are you a part of a denomination?

While Eastport is an independent body of believers, we are baptistic in faith and practice and are part of a church network called Converge MidAmerica. You can find out more about Converge by visiting their website.
